New and Exciting Advances in Breast Cancer:

  • Brachytherapy - new method of delivery of radiation that greatly shortens the course of treatment.
  • Ductal Lavage - new office procedure for early detection of breast cancer.
  • Ductoscopy - new procedure can be done in the office with immediate sampling of ductal masses.
  • Cryosurgery - benign breast lesions can be destroyed with cryosurgery instead of excision.
  • Breast biopsies - office ultrasound allows the surgeon to do breast biopsies in the office instead of the operating room.
